DMCA Notice & Takedown Policy

Anomaly ArtistOS™ respects intellectual property rights and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). If you believe content on our platform infringes your copyright or intellectual property rights, please follow the procedures outlined below.

How to Report Copyright Infringement

If you own a copyright or are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner and believe your work has been infringed, you may submit a DMCA takedown notice to:

Required Information in DMCA Notice

Your DMCA notice must include all of the following:

1. Your Contact Information

  • Your full legal name
  • Your email address
  • Your phone number
  • Your mailing address

2. Copyright Ownership Information

  • Confirmation that you are the copyright owner or authorized representative
  • Copyright registration number (if applicable)
  • Description of the copyrighted work(s)

3. Infringing Content Details

  • Specific URL(s) or location of infringing content on the Platform
  • Description of the infringing content
  • Description of how it infringes your copyright

4. Legal Statement

Include the following statement: "I have a good faith belief that the use of the copyrighted material described above is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law. I declare under penalty of perjury that the information in this notification is accurate and that I am authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner."

5. Electronic Signature

Your full legal name (typed as a signature) satisfies this requirement.

Our Response Procedures

Upon receipt of a valid DMCA notice, we will:

  • Review the notice: We verify that the notice is complete and valid (48 hours).
  • Take action: If valid, we will remove or disable access to the infringing content.
  • Notify the uploader: We will notify the user who uploaded the content that their material was removed.
  • Counter-notice window: The user has 30 days to submit a counter-notice if they believe the removal was in error.
  • Repeat infringer policy: Users who repeatedly infringe will have their accounts terminated.

Counter-Notice Procedure

If your content was removed and you believe it does not infringe copyright, you may submit a counter-notice. Your counter-notice must include:

  • Your name and contact information
  • The URL of the removed content
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the removal was erroneous
  • Your consent to jurisdiction of federal court
  • Your signature

Send counter-notices to dmca@anomalyartistos.com. We will provide the copyright claimant with your counter-notice, and content will be restored after 30 days unless legal action is taken.

False DMCA Claims

Submitting a false DMCA notice exposes you to legal liability. Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), you may be liable for damages if you knowingly materially misrepresent that content infringes your copyright. We may pursue legal action against users who submit false DMCA claims.

For trademark infringement, patent violations, or other non-copyright IP issues, please contact our legal team:

Prohibited Uses of Copyrighted Content

Users may not upload to the Platform:

  • Music owned by major labels without authorization
  • Artwork not created by you or licensed for use
  • Logos or trademarks of other organizations
  • Samples from copyrighted recordings without clearance
  • Published content without permission
